GEND3 corrupt data

Firmware: 5.50 Prometheus/GEN-D4
PSP Type:Fat

I just updated my PSP to play Persona 3, but now my data for most of my games is corrupt. I tried copying over all the old save data (from before the update), but it get corrupted just for being on GEN D3. anyone have a fix?
