Recently I`ve bought an used psp phat and the guy told me that the psp has custom firmwire and that I can download and play every game I want. But, I`ve downloaded a few games and put them in my psp but i was not able to play them, the minute the game started a black screen appears and I can`t play any games. So, my question is how can I upgrade my cfw by my self (if that is the answer to my question) and can I do it without pandora and magic stick memory card or I just simlpy go to someone who knows these things and pay him to finish the job ???????? by the way my cfw version (system software) is 3.40 OE-A.
Big THANKS in advance biggrin.gif

Update to 5.00M33-6

Download it (Can be found on this site, just do some searching)
Place it in your PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder.
Also, Download 5.00 Official Firmware (Google it)
And put it in your MS Root.

Update to 5.50 Gen-D3 from 5.00M33-6 if needed.

Also, access the Recovery Menu after updating to 5.00M33-6. (Boot up your PSP while holding the R trigger)
Go into configuration and make sure your game driver is set to M33 -NO UMD-

And don't write "Help" as your topic title.

Try and make your topic title direct and to the point. Instead of typing 'Help', type your Question.
Avoid the prolonging of words, eg. 'Hellllllppp'.

Ok. I think there is something wrong with it.

Get that 550.PBP file and paste it on PSP/Game/UPDATE folder and launch the game on the PSP.
