My son knocked my PSP out of my hands and now I'm having some major issues. It's survived harder falls before, but this one apparently did it. Now it doesn't work at all with the battery in, plugged in or not. So I took the battery out and tried to get it to come on running off the A/C and it comes on, but only when the plug is held in a certain position, kinda like the way a shorted headphone will only work when held just right. I thought about buying a battery but if there is a problem with the A/C port I'm not even going to bother.

Also I pandorized my own battery instead of buying a pre-made, is it possible that a component of the battery came loose or whatever when it fell?

I don't know I guess I was just wondering if anyone thinks this is worth trying to save or should I just trash it? If someone wants to buy a busted up red GOW slim for parts hit me up lol.

Sounds like a loose fuse. If the PSP doesn't transfer energy correctly from the battery to the device itself, it wont get any at all. The reason the AC adapter works sometimes is like you said with the headphones. It's a fuse. It's not your battery or the AC adapter. I'm going to make a tutorial soon on how to fix this. But don't hold your breath, I'm not sure when I'll be finished posting it.

Cool sounds good I was hoping there would be some weird reason for this but I didn't really expect one. Let me know when you get it up.
