(please watch video at the bottom before doing anything)

1. download this .rar file http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LKP0J4UD it has all you need i put them into a simple rar so you dont have to search around.

2.extract the three files to your desktop....now for the fun part

3. go to control panel and check on your user acount controlls set them as low as possible just for now you can change back to normal after install.

4. install the MotioninJoy_040002_amd64 driver file after it is done were going to go ahead and check on the device so go to control panel device then click hardware and sound followed by clicking device manager.

In Device manager, look for USB human interface device.right click "USB Input Device" check the VID&PID as follows

8.your Device Manager will like it as follows.

9.press ps button, now you can use sixaxis or dualshock3 as a general gamepad

I am stuck at one of the early steps. I install the driver. I rightckick the USB interface device in controll panel, and look at the hardware ids; but I have five USB interface devices and none of the ids match those in your picture

As I look at this a little harder it looks like the controll pad has to be connected to the computer by USB, so it is not wiresess; am I reading that right?

yea your controller has to be connected vie usb and what you have to do is find the game controller id and match it with the usb id if you follow the youtube video it will work....video is easier for most people to understand

...
also the controller has to be plugged in at all times...

ALSO you forgot your "/" in the file dir... other than that... good tut
