Hey, everybody. I'm having trouble using Ad-Hoc with my brother. He has a PSP-2000 running the latest GEN CFW and I have a PSP-3000 running 6.20 OFW. I purchased Modnation Racers and Syphon Filter Portable Ops but for some reason, I can't host a game. He can host on his backed-up games with ease and my PSP recognizes it, but when I host a game, he can't see my game. I noticed that my wireless light remains lit as his flashes repeatedly. I tried something simple as photo sharing, but his PSP will not receive photos from mine while mine receives his fine. Anyone know what's going on? It's not the CFW as I've downgraded his back to M33 with the same results. I upgraded back to GEN but the wireless continues to act up. Please help.

So you can not do any form of wiFi correct?
Make sure you are set to broadcast your photo sharing and game sharing to automatic channels as that is better.

Hmm...I have this problem once. I think if its game, You both should have the same Game Region either US, EUR or JPN. But Im not sure about this and I don't know how to See what Region you have. Probably UMDGEN can.
With the Photo Sharing. I think you should try what icejack said about having the same Channel for Ad-Hoc. Go set it both to automatic but I usually set mine to Channel 6. Thats the channel that most PSP owners use here in my place.

I've tried all the channels. It's strange. He can connect to the internet fine, but not to my PSP without the mentioned problems.

Try reinstalling your firmware or fixing your IDstorage keys.

To fix the ID Storage keys you need a pandora battery and MMS with DCv8. Put the memory card and pandora into your psp while holding down the L key(memory card firs then pandora). Go down in the options menu that comes up to NAND Operations and select it then ID storage Tools > Create New IdStorage and then turn your Lan switch on and follow the onscreen directions/ choices. Good Luck.
