my PSP 1003 is at 3.71 M33-2 and whenever i load a game it freezes at the PSP White Logo.

upgrade to 5.00m33-6 or 5.50GEN D3 if you want to play new games for your psp...
just don't forget to formatted (make backup) your memory stick regularly...

i use GEN D3 and Formatted my memory stick once a month so my data in my memory stick are organize...
don't use defrag method on your memory stick cause it will not give you any good...
i have try defrag but formatting is more better...

yep, you need to update to a newer Custom Firmware

Yes, install a new CFW and if that deosnt work than try formating everything
