I am trying to hack my friend PSP and his firmware is 3.XX OEA and I want to update it to 5.00 M33 or 5.50 GEN-D3 Final, what application do I need to do that?

XX means that I don't know the numbers but I know the first digit is 3

I thought I need to update the 3.XX OEA firmware first since it can't be update straight to 5.50 GEN-D3?

You will need to download Recovery Flasher and 5.50 GEN-D and 5.50 GEN-D3 files and use Recovery Flasher to update your firmware to 5.50 GEN-D3
