Hi!

I'm using PSP 3000 with mobo of ta90v2, running on OFW 5.03.

I installed chickHEN r2, and gen-c. also installed cxmb and some .ctf files.

my questions are:

1) the cxmb is meant for 5.02 m33/gen .ctf files. can i use it for a 5.03 after converting them using the .ctf converter? if not, is there any cxmb meant for 5.03 cfw?
2) can i put pictures in the picture folder without upsetting the chickHEN? i had to reboot, and reformat after the first try. >.<
3) is there a better option than chickHEN r2 that i can use so that i can fully utilize my pictures folder?

that's all of the questions i can think of for now. thanks for taking the time. =] im still a newbie, so forgive me for the dumbass questions. trolled the boards for help on this. none of them really answered my question.

I will answer number 1

There is a certain CXMB for PSP 3000 with 5.03 GEN-C. If Im not mistaken its called CXMB Mod or something like that. I haven't tried it in my PSP tho.

I answered number 2 already on another topic but I will tell you anyway.

You can put pictures with your ChickHEN folder but be sure to put your other pictures on another folder.

I don't get much the 3rd question. But if Im right, You can use MHUSpeed3 or LMAO17 HEN loaders. They are almost desame anyway.

LOL. thanks!

I don't quite understand your answer for question 2 tho, because i did save the pictures outside of the chickHEN folder, in their own folder, but under the same directory: PHOTO. and it still got disabled. =[

Btw, i am using LMAO now, and it works great! i'd like to clarify something tho:

what is a cfw enabler? - out of these: MHU, GEN-C, chickHEN, LMAO, CFW enabler Mod (mentioned above), which one is it?? >.< so confusing. gawd.

There is a version of little known CXMB which allows you to use themes for 5.00 M33 directly on the 5.02/5.03 GEN without having to convert them.

INSTALL:
# Unzip files at the root of your Memory Stick with WinRAR

# Open the VSH.txt file and add this line : ms0:/cxmb/cxmb.prx
# Reboot your PSP and hold the R Trigger, the Recovery Menu will appear
# Go to Plugins and enable cxmb.prx
# Return to XMB using Back and Exit.

Size = [738.77 kB]

ooo.thanks guys! sumhw i feel enlightened.

=]

let me clarify some more:

this is the hierarchy of my psp drive:Attached File  psphelp.gif (8.62K)
Number of downloads: 0

additional pictures should be placed in the PSP/PHOTO folder, whr the LMAO folder resides? or can it be placed in the G:/PICTURES instead?

btw, the megaupload link for the cxmb says that the file is inaccessible at the moment. are there any mirrors or proper name for it so i can search?

sorry for troubling you guys. @.@

Yes, where LMAO folder resides is correct! They will show on your MS0 as well...I dont use chickHen, I have a 1st GEN Slim, so I dont need it...I dont know how it interferes with other pics...I just know in your XMB the PSP will read pics from both those directories...

wanna see a large MS0, lol...

^^ That is mine, & I didn\'t even open all my directories...hahaha

As for MU links, that is the file hosting issue, keep refreshing the page & it should work, I just tried it now & worked fine for me?!?!
