As the title states, my analog stick sometimes gets 'stuck' down for a bit until I touch it. I don't really know of a way to fix it, but I was wondering if anyone else knew a way?

What do you mean by stuck down? Do you mean that your Analog stick is
Physically on down OR
Your character in games always move down
If your Analog Stick is physically down, You need to open your PSP to tighten or replace it. USMarine posted a Tutorial on how to open your PSP.
If your Analog stick is acting up whenever you play games. You can use Joysens. I've used it once but I didn't manage to fix my Analog stick.

Oh, I meant not physically but within games.
I've looked into joysens a little bit, and it looked rather... dangerous.
If you know how to use it, though, then I would appreciate some help with it.

Try using macrofire. It lets you change the sensitivity of the analog and other things such as recording macros, and remapping your buttons.

IM sorry. Just what I said, I used it onced. joysens is dangerous if your common PSP buttons are worned out because Those buttons will be used to adjust some of your buttons configuration.
Having this kind of problem doesn't mean your Analog Stick is Working fine. Better open your PSP and see if the Analog Stick's Screws are loose. If its dirty, clean it. Try it and If the problem still persist. You might want to buy another Analog Stick. I don't know how much one costs but I think its not that expensive.
Now if you decided to open your PSP and check your Analog Stick, Go here and follow the guide. IF you follow and do this guide be careful. And remember that the Analog stick is just on the Front Faceplate. No need to go and do something with the Board to be safe.
This guide should help you open your PSP but not to replace the Analog Stick. It's easy tho. If USMarine is still here, You can go ask him.
