Oh no forgot your password? Well this tutorial can help you out.

Step 1.) boot into safe mode with command prompt


step 2.)at command prompt type

net user

it will display list of users. on my PC it looks like this..



after this type net user user_name *.
here user_name is the user name of which you want to change the password. it will ask a new password and to confirm it. In my pc this is like this..

G:\Documents and Settings\lipu>net user Jerrylee *
Type a password for the user:
Retype the password to confirm:
The command completed successfully.

very nice now would this work from a repair disc? If so, I might have to make a "super" windows repair disc (multi-boot with all versions of windows)

Umm i dont know wraith ive never tried it before, but you can try it and see how it works. I just go to safe mode and do this

thanks, i remember doin this once but i forgot, i dont think my moms gna use any more passwords, she keeps on forgetting them
