So, I'm having some problems with extreme lagging. I have installed the "Jumpstart" data that makes it faster, but in battle it lags so horribly still that it feels like the game shouldn't have even been ported to the PSP in the first place, and it's very frustrating to play... I did BUY this game from gamestop, brand new, so I expected better than this... To answer any questions that might be asked, my PSP (according to the previous user) was hacked but then he unhacked it. My PSP is the fat version, firmwire (whatever the latest was) Anyone know of anything I can do to further increase the speed, or what I should do with this game? (I'm pretty sure that lagging issues isn't a legit reason to return a game...)

Sounds like either two things,

1. The UMD isn't transferring data correctly, or
2. Your PSP isn't receiving data correctly.

I would go into gamestop and tell them about the issue. If the product has problems, they must replace it.
If you do get a replacement, and the same problem occurs, then the fault lies in your PSP.
Have you ever had any problems with lag in previous games? Did you use the update feature that came with that game? Let me know what you decided to do

i believe its the game disk. I bought a new psp and a new mana khemia and it fails badly. after buyin 3 of them {gamestop is cheap didnt want to replace even with proof} game is extremely laggy. i prefer puttin it on a psp go or do what i did and download it on a cfw psp. i did and it runs extremly fast, but this is my opinion on events that has happened to me
