First of all this is not my tutorial. This idea came from a missionary in Panama named Annie. Annie serves in a very remote area, accessible only by helicopter or a long, up-river boat ride.

Note: These Screenshots are not mine.

Clever, but simple, here is How To Clean A Computer Keyboard Using A Balloon And A Straw.

1) Get a small balloon, the kind that you can buy in a package at any Walmart, Kmart, Target, or other department store.

2) Get a common plastic drinking straw.

3) Blow up the balloon and hold it tight towards the bottom to keep the air in. Allow a little room between your fingers and the open end of the balloon.

4) Place the open end of the balloon over one end of the straw and hold it there with your other hand.

5) Point the open end of the straw at your keyboard. Release the air out of the straw in short blasts to clear the dust and dirt from between and underneath the keys. If the air runs out of the balloon before the keyboard is completely cleaned, simply blow it up again and repeat the process! It's easy and it's free!
