Replacing your Cracked / Broken PSP Screen Rate Topic: -----

This tutorials will instruct you on how to replace your broken / cracked PSP screen with a new one. PSPEvo / PSPerspective is not responsible for any damage you do to your PSP while following this tutorial.

  1. You will need a 300mm Phillips Screwdriver and a Flathead screwdriver.
  2. There will be 5 screws you need to remove in order to open your PSP.
  3. Once you have unscrewed all 5 screws, you just simply pull the PSP apart.
  4. Now, remove the Button Bar Catch with your Flathead screwdriver.
  5. GENTLY pull the Button catch up then use your flathead screw driver to lift up on the Button Bar Catch circuit strip connector then pull it out of the PSP and sit it aside.
  6. Open the LCD catch 1 and 2 with your flat head screw driver.
  7. Open the LCD catch 2 and 3 on the other side.
  8. Lift the screen up and use your flat head screw driver and carefully lift open the big circuit strip connector.
  9. Very carefully lift open the small circuit strip connector.
  10. Now, Take out the old PSP screen and replace it with the new one. Careful to not scratch the new PSP screen.
  11. Finally, Reconnect all the circuit connectors, replace the button bar, put the PSP back together, and screw in the screws.


Note: You need some basic circuit board knowledge.
