How To Update M33 To GEN



Update: Use the XGen Updater, which update from any M33 to GEN,

Credits goes to Anemone for the XGen Updater

Note: Make sure you have fully charged up your PSP

Requirements

PSP-1000 or PSP-2000 with Custom Firmware 3.52 M33-3 or higher already installed.
PSP-2000 TA-88v3 & PSP-3000 are not supported!



First you will need to download GEN-A/GEN-B Update

After your done extracting it, you should get a folder named PSP GEN-A & GEN-B. Open up the folder and inside you will see 2 folders, GEN-A and GEN-B Update.

Go into the GEN-A folder and copy the UPDATE folder to MS0:/PSP/GAME/ and run the UPDATE on your PSP

After you have updated your PSP firmware to GEN-A, go to the GEN-B UPDATE folder and copy the 5.50-genB-update folder to MS0:/PSP/GAME/ and run the GEN-B Update on your PSP

I believe he did, but if not it is GEN-B Full(aka GEN B-2) which you can locate in the PSP section under miscellaneous.

When i update does my plugins work as normal..? Cause i heard that some pluginss do not work with GEN cfw..I have Joysens..

hmmmmm let's say that i have a save game using the cfw 5.00 m33-6 and updated to gen b2. e.g psx lunar 2. will i still be able to play it after update, in gen? thanks.

Yes, if you have 5.00 M33-6 you are able to update your firmware to GEN
