All you need to have on your laptop/PC. To save system resources and HDD space, reserve and take use on your daily basic needs! Please note i won't be giving you the cracked version of those programs. You have to search it your own. DO NOT ASK FOR IT HERE!
The Essential Program List - Recommend For All Users:
- ImgBurn - Freeware
Tiny program built with every sophisticated features any users will ever need, also user friendly.
- PowerISO - Shareware
Efficient disk image manager, fast Virtual Drive, support all image formats, but unable to emulate DRM data.
Support Tool: Daemon Tool - Freeware
Build for only for Virtual Drive purpose with the best DRM emulating tool under a small size, but slow on creating drives also little resource hog.
- VLC Player - Freeware
One player that plays 99% of the available music & video formats including youtube vids and some rare formats under a reasonable size, is all you'll ever need.
- Eset NOD32 AntiVirus - Shareware
Single process stance, Lowest RAM usage and system usage, fast load speed and high efficient threat detection engine better then Symantec, McAfee, AVG and the rest else. (Also suitable for low RAM system.)
- Free Download Manager (FDM) - Freeware
Small and efficient to manage all downloads, but unable to capture links on a few tricky storage sites.
- uTorrent - Freeware
Extreme tiny torrent client with all good features, also obviously the best client around.
- WinRAR - Shareware
People should get familiar with this a must have archiver for many purposes. Choosing because supports most archive formats available on net.
- Foxit Reader - Freeware
Tiny and famous 7MB PDF document reader, far better then Adobe's PDF Reader that cost too much HDD space.
- Flash Player - Freeware
Adobe's official SWF file player. Download flash favorite games and play on your comp offline. User need to go deep into the site to find the download.
Programs above is everything you'll need generally and absolutely nothing loaded to background to hog resources except Antivirus programs. Those programs are compared to make sure have richful functions but under a small size to insure fast load and minimal resource impact on CPU, RAM and HDD space. All cost only 115MB on HDD. Other CD/DVD Burning products, Antivirus products and junks, i recommend you uninstall them that will not only save more HDD space but also free processes junks out on RAM.
Optional Tools - Recommend For All:
- TuneUp Utilities - Shareware
A tool bundles that tweak and maintenance OS, regular/advanced users with fresh installed Windows wouldn't need this. OS up to a year old or frequent software testing is necessary to have.
Support Tool: CCleaner - Freeware
A small version of TuneUp Utilities, unable to do alot tweaking but efficient enough to clean registry and HDD junks.
- Deflaggler - Freeware
Very small program, creator of CCleaner, Piriform introduced another power defragmenter good as those expensive Diskeeper and Perfect Disk.
- Everest Ultimate - Shareware
An unified system temperature monitor and detector that scans everything your system and report intensive info, also able to find out the identity of unknown devices.
- Java Runtime - Freeware
The only JRE engine for java apps, But not needed generally.
- Unlocker - Freeware
Tiny simply freeware tool allow advance users to wipe viruses/spyware/adware that even some antivirus software can't do. Also to capture youtube videos (in harder way).
- Recuva - Freeware
Easy and up to date data recovery program. Barely use to recovery data but this is the one i'll try.
Support Tool: Data Recovery Wizard Pro - Demo
An expensive professional data recovery program. I will use if Recuva failed attempts.
- UltraSurf - Freeware
A program assigned proxy connector that will make your connection go through a proxy, i never tried it but always have it with me for just in case.
Server System - Recommend For All:
- XAMPP Lite - Freeware
Lite edition provides everything a server need from HTTP to HTTPS, mailserver, PHP, FTP and MySQL engine but remain as compact size. Features no fuzz install-run-delete procedure. Ideal for starter hoster to server operator or game server.
- Navicat for MySQL - Shareware/Freeware
An excellent small MySQL DB management tool with quality GUI. The 'Lite' version is freeware but with limited functions over the full version, but enough to handle the database management.
Optional Programs and Server System are only installed whenever it is required. Those are still my best find and the winner of the comparasion research I've done.

3rd Party Software Needed for Tasks - Optional Progs That I Personally Use:
- FRAPS - Shareware
So far the best and only tool that can capture ingame motions into RAW avi video also can do screenshots and benchmarks.
- iDump - Freeware
One small tool allow user to extract iPods music properly without install the huge iTune program.
- Protected Music Converter - Shareware
One program allow user to convert any DRM Protected music format and able play on other devices.
- Aone Ultra Flash to FLV - Shareware
One newly discovered program that is highly efficient and easy GUI to convert videos to FLV format. I use it to convert videos captured from FRAPS.
- PTDD Partition Table Doctor - Demo
The only program saved my 200GB+ of data, it repairs HDD have File System issues or damaged MRT Records for example, doesn't fix hardware issue. (For Advanced Users Only.)
- Winhelp2002 HOSTS - Free
Manual refined definition file gives you protection on browsing, it uses windows buildin localhost engine to helps to block users & system access to malicious sites that contain ads/spyware/viruses and even phishing sites, also blocks up to 95% of the advertisements. However user need to update the HOSTS every month manually.
- Active@ KillDisk - Demo/Freeware
A tool only offers free Zero-Byte write function to clean bad sectors on HDD. The main purpose of it is to use military standard eraser engine to delete HDD data but the feature is disabled until purchased. Is only recommended to run this to clean old HDD before install new OS. All data will be lost when performing the operation.
- HyperSnap - Shareware
Efficient tool to capture DirectX game/movies screenshots also desktop screens. Also featured a useful screen regional capture. Supports multiple format output including Photoshop formats and more.
- PicPick - Freeware
This freeware tool works like HyperSnap and is smaller in size, able to do what HyperSnap does. Offers as alternative solution to HyperSnap.
- HyperCam - Shareware
Not free, allow user to capture desktop video and sound, useful if you want to do a video tutorial and upload to youtube.
- Sothink SWF Decomplier - Shareware
Allow user to grab favorite arts/sounds/video clips compiled inside a SWF flash.
- WWW File Share Pro - Shareware
A small and quick HTTP server specially use for hosting downloads and uploads public or private way on your own PC.
- Chat Anywhere - Shareware
A small simple but powerful featured chat server with very friendly GUI easy host on user's PC, also good for private conversation.
- CheatEngine - Freeware
One of the memory address edit tool, usually used for game hacks but capable to alter anything. (For Advanced Users.)
- DFX Audio Enhancer - Shareware
Avaliable on multiple player platforms, it sufficiently improves the audio quality up to superb HD quality with EQ. Also powerful virtual effects render to give audience a powerful feels. (I personally think 8.5 version output better then version 9)
- DVDFab Platinum - Trial
Easy DVDRipper program with easy adjustment options allow users to create thier own rips easier then ever.
- VMware Workstation Edition - Trial
A program that emulate as a PC within the base OS, allows another OS running in the base OS for multiple purposes. Example software testing for developers and virus tests.
- AutoDesk Maya - Demo
World class 3D object creator. Its format is widely supported that can be easily converted or ported to game engines.
- Corel Painter - Trial
A true graphic design program and effects tools that allow users to creates amazing arts, is widely used by Deviantart's artists and their works is simply heavenly.
- Ableton - Demo
Globally rewarded mixer program allows user to creates from loops to effects and able compose highly sophisticated music without expensive equipments. (For Advanced Users.)
- MixMeister - Trial
An easy version DJ program that features auto sync tracks for somewhat experienced DJ to play intensive music that you can hear on dance clubs.
- Virtual DJ - Trial
Much more manual version of MixMeister but have more effect functions.
- Turn Off LCD - Freeware
Less then 100kb cmd tool that power off laptop screen to save power and reduce backlight bulb/fuses heats while user is away or brb mode.
- Windows Media Player 11 - You know what that is. Personally use for MP3 and WMA music player only. But also use to rip music CDs.
- Adobe Photoshop CS4 Portable - A simple, popular best used photo/image editing program. My recent find on portable series is much smaller in size then even CS2, but still contain the essential functions.
- Adode Illustrator - A vector graphic design program. Unfortunately there's no CS3/4 portable version for this at the moment.
- Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 Portable - The only website designer program i work with. My recent find on portable series is much smaller in size then previous Macromedia version, but still contain the essential functions.
- Macromedia Flash MX - Commonly known for design and create flash animations. Unfortunately there's no CS3/4 portable version for this at the moment.
